Forever 21 @ PFW Holiday '11

There was full of life and spark in the Forever 21 show last Tuesday. As far as I remember, I haven't seen models on the runway with their full smiles (except maybe for Oz Go's). They showed their signature prints, color blocks and boy/girl next door look. It was a very commercial and young look , although I wished they could have stepped it one notch higher. Then again, they're not Topshop which takes high risks.

I was shocked after the show because the venue transformed into a mini fans day event for the adolescent girls in the audience. They started taking pictures with fashion personalities/bloggers. It was annoying and unorthodox. The models even posed for like 10 mins for the audience to take pictures. But maybe that's the whole point of the Forever 21 show - to create publicity and at the same time, it's a show for the public and a treat for the customers who have been loyal to them.

"Unorthodox" made me laugh. Hahaha! But then again, I was actually surprised Forever 21 had shows like these. They basically copy every other brand's style anyway so I thought they couldn't put together fashion shows. But that thing with the mini-fans day...hilarious! I die :))
