I first saw Bang Pineda's collection in the runway during his Holiday collection back in 2010 in a show with Tina Daniac. He always creates a shroud of "mystery" for every model he sends on the runway because of the sleek debonair look from the hair to the expression of the models. Even back in S/S 2011, as the models were sent naked to the runway where they had to dress themselves up in a very poised and graceful manner.
This time, he plays with textures and silhouettes applying acid-like treatment for the suits and trousers, and ring-cutout details for the blazers. The styling is also impeccable! I'm getting a Dries Van Noten S/S2011 vibe in his collection this season. I wonder how his clothes would fit skinny European models, since he always use buff men. Here are some of the pieces which I liked from the menswear collection last Tuesday night.
