His house was Filipino inspired, in contrast to the European houses we see everywhere.
The slope of the ceiling reminded me of our ancestral house back in my dad's province.
When I'll be planning my own house/condo, I'll ask my architect try to impose more Filipino-ness in the design, even in the interior.
There were more paintings/ house accessories, but I wasn't able to take pictures of them.
By, the way, this is where I slept - on the upper bed. Thank God there were comforters because it was very cold during the night.
